Hi Vicki Hainault Fitch
He’s got a great radio voice
Ask him about how Second Life and the new VR stuff interact or if Second Life is something that’s old and gone now.
Is this connection cutting out for anyone else, I’m getting the loading wheel and only hearing every other word every other second.
can you tell us a little about La Camila?
It’s stacy
My connection is fine.
It’s driving me crazy
I believe that this young man could represent the future of VR.
Hi
Hey Ryan Anderson Bell 😉
Oh please . . . predict the future Jak
Jak, talk VR to us . . .
definitely think AR would be better for hands on learning
Jak, will VR change the way we use day to day monitors and key boards?
This is cool, does he know about this https://www.engadget.com/2017/03/07/cnn-virtual-reality-unit-cnnvr/
CNN Launching their own VR News unit
Jak, what do you think the next integration of VR to day to day activity will be in the next 6 months?
CNN has had their own “virtual reality” for years……
Will VR replace the attempt at Google Glass?
Knott’s Berry Farm plugs into virtual reality, the new park thrill on the cheap http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-knotts-virtual-reality-20170308-story.html
I have a $50 VR headset and it’s cool
I think that VR could take interactive Livestreaming to a new level . . . Is anything like that being worked on?
Adam Nally check this out https://techcrunch.com/2017/03/08/facebook-debuts-its-first-dedicated-virtual-reality-app-facebook-360/
Imagine “A Fresh Perspective” broadcast in VR . . .
There’s Cardboard which is free and then there’s lots of stuff to upsell
What does he think about transhumanism and VR?
VR is just the first step before the Star Trek teleporter
Yes. Gene Rodenburry had the StarTrek Teleporter, Star Trek Transponders and Battle Stars with VR training centers for the millitary
It has the power to disconnect humanity, get us to live in a fake world and can cause some real trouble.
Jak, Is there a lightening like cord for VR to plug into a biologic cell yet?
Transhumanism is the mingling of technology in the human body and connects us to computers.
Good morning!
1st step toward VR is “Avitar” the movie like interaction
4.45am
Hey Nazim! -Rob
I see VR providing vision for the blind, hearing for the deaf and addiction for the Avatar Movie like immersion
VR actually shows that us humans are way more than our physical bodies.
Statistical data shows that addiction for sensory immersion is more likely before age 25 years old. Most executive function of the brain doesn’t fully form until around age 25
Rob is like the GIF wizard
Battle Star Galactica (TV series) had a VR training room . . . again Gene Rodenburry was an IT futurist
I will tell you that there is still NOTHING like surgery and cadaver dissection
I was quite blown away from finding about the Gamma knife for brain surgery. Would be interesting to see if VR could be incorporated with it.
VR with Zero gravity . . . now there’s a game!!!
Gamma knife is VR in current use
We looked at the tech years ago for my daughter’s case but it was not applicable in her case. We reverted for an epilepsy based approach which worked out great in her case.
The tech is amazing.
Have to get ready to catch an early train. Will watch the rest later. Bye everybody.
That’s transhumanism you’re describing.
We’re way past 1984
Our whole world is under surveillance and it’s all a set up for the anti-Christ…
We’ll see you there Jak! SXSW and hi VBae!
